Our guide on how to make spiced coconut-milk hot chocolate
SERVES 2 // HANDS-On 10 min
400 ml tin coconut milk
3 cardamom pods, bruised
1 cinnamon stick
Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
50g milk chocolate
50g dark chocolate
1. Place the coconut milk, cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg in a pot. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 2 minutes, to allow the spices to infuse.
2. Remove from the heat and whisk in the chocolate until it dissolves.
3. Strain the hot chocolate through a sieve to remove the whole spices.
