No matter your party snack, a classic blue cheese dip will always be a winning accompaniment that everyone will love. Pop toothpicks into your crudités, grilled mushrooms or olives for easy dipping.

200g blue cheese
½ cup sour cream
½ cup buttermilk
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and white pepper
Crudités, to serve
Pita, toasted, to serve
1. Place the blue cheese in a bowl and mash it with a fork. Add sour cream and continue mashing until you have a chunky paste.
2. Mash in the rest of the ingredients and season with salt and white pepper.
3. Cover and refrigerate before serving the dip with crudités and toasted pita.
