Do you have what it takes to win big at this year’s SA Cheese Festival?

Celebrating its 17th year running, the SA Cheese Festival will be taking place from 27-29 April at Sandringham in Stellenbosch this year. And SA Cheese Festival, celebrity chef Jenny Morris and MyKitchen magazine (yep, that’s us!) are giving all of you the opportunity to show us your skills in the kitchen, and win big in the process.

HOW TO ENTER

Home cooks are invited to enter their own #WaterWise cheesy recipes for the #YourWheyWithCheese cook-off via email (charlotte@agriexpo.co.za) or by inboxing SA Cheese Festival on Facebook. Closing date is 10 March and there is NO entry fee!

The competition will be judged by Jenny Morris, executive chef Craig Davids and local foodie Sihle Ngobese.

The Top 30 contenders will be invited to cook their recipes at the Giggling Gourmet School of Cooking on Saturday 17 March in Cape Town. A Top 15 will be chosen and will cook off against each other for a spot in the semi-finals at the SA Cheese Festival.

Two contestants will go head to head on the Friday, and another two will do the same on the Saturday of the Festival. The winner of each cook-off will compete in the finals on Sunday.

WHAT ABOUT THE PRIZE?

You stand the chance to win a four-week cooking course at Jenny’s CooksPlayground and a two-day cheesemaking course with Leon the Milkman, as well as prizes from Taurus Appliances and Will Creek (olive oil products), all worth more than R10 000!

So what are you waiting for? Send your #WaterWise cheese recipe to charlotte@agriexpo.co.za or to SA Cheese Festival on Facebook NOW! We can’t wait to see you there.
