Sold out every year, Fairview is back with their popular Shiraz and Free-Range Lamb Shank evening, so don’t miss out!
By Ulisha Moodley
‘There is definitely a comfort factor that revolves around bringing together a bold red and a hearty meal in the middle of winter.’ We couldn’t agree more! That’s what winters are made of, especially in the Mother City.
Fairview is renowned for their star-quality wines so this, accompanied with underfloor heating and the cosy Goatshed restaurant interior, ensures a spectacular night ahead. Chef SJ Nel puts a spin on classic dishes using pork and duck ‘shank’, and incorporating smoked Shiraz vines with his tasty spiced pumpkin soup.
This is what you can look forward to having on the evening – amazing right?

Second Starter – Spiced pumpkin soup, lightly smoked with Shiraz vines
