Last night the definitive list of the best restaurants in South Africa was announced at the 2018 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards at GrandWest in Cape Town. After taking third place last year The Restaurant at Waterkloof moved up 2 places this year, earning the top spot with their classic-meets-modern French fare. In the words of their triumphant chef: ‘We cook for pleasure and we cook to fulfil our passion and to get recognised for it is an amazing feeling. I am truly proud of the team and what they were able to achieve. It’s just incredible.’
