It’s so satisfying to find a snack that you can make in a flash – and these tea-roasted chilli nuts are it! Simply mix and pop into the oven to roast.
MAKES 2 cups // COOKING TIME 40 min
2 cups mixed nuts
2 tbsp honey
2 tsp Ceylon tea
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp chilli powder or flakes
1. Preheat oven to 180ºC and line a baking tray.
2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Toss until the nuts are coated.
3. Spread out on the baking tray and bake for 30 minutes, turning the tray halfway through.
4. Allow to cool completely, then store in an airtight container.
