Spinach, avo, green tea and honey superfood smoothie

Packed with iron, vitamins A, C, E and K, niacin, folate, calcium and potassium from the baby spinach, heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids from the avo, and all the healing, antioxidant powers of green tea, sweetened with raw honey… This is a superfood smoothie bomb in a jar!

SERVES 1 // COOKING TIME 10 mins

INGREDIENTS
½ banana, frozen
1 cup baby spinach
¼ cup diced avocado
½ cup steeped green tea
Handful ice, optional
1–2 tbsp raw honey, plus extra to drizzle
1 tbsp flax seeds, plus extra to serve

METHOD
1. Freeze the banana overnight.
2. Blend frozen banana with the rest of the ingredients until smooth.
3. Pour into a jar and serve topped with extra flax seeds and a drizzle of honey.
