Spicy green juice

Forget about detoxing and juicing, this homemade spicy green juice is a quick and easy way to get your greens into your diet, and makes for a hydrating drink.

SERVES 2 // COOKING TIME 15 min

INGREDIENTS
1 bunch kale
1 cucumber
1 cos lettuce
2 Granny Smith apples, cored
1 cup chopped pineapple
1 lemon, juiced
1 jalapeño, seeded
Handful coriander

METHOD
1. Put the ingredients through your juicer one by one.
2. If the pulp is still wet, run it through again until dry.
3. Drink the juice immediately or store in a sealed glass bottle in the fridge for up to 48 hours.

TIP: If you don’t have a juicer, run the ingredients through your food processor until pulped. Then strain the pulp through a fine-mesh cloth, squeezing the juice out into in a jug.
