Capetonians just can’t wait for Dunkin’ Donuts

By participating in a host of challenges since 29 September, Cape Town locals have successfully ensured that South Africa’s first ever Dunkin’ Donuts will be opening its doors in Goodwood this Thursday (13 October), 14 days before its original launch date.

Marketing and communications director Rozanna Kader says that Dunkin’ Donuts fans have pleasantly exceeded all expectations. ‘We had an overwhelming response to the campaign and people really went above and beyond to move the date. When we launched our doughnut tattoo challenge, we definitely did not expect the response we received – in the end, three people walked away with brand new doughnut tattoos!’

And because of all the positive hype and energy Capetonians have created, Dunkin’ Donuts will be rewarding the first 100 visitors to their store in a big way:

1st person there: One dozen assorted doughnuts and a medium original blend coffee every week for one year.
First 2-50 people: One dozen assorted doughnuts and a medium original blend coffee every month for six months.
First 51-100 people: One medium original blend coffee and doughnut per week for up to six months.

And in addition to all the above, the store will also be hosting a fun-filled opening day complete with performances by The Kiffness, Early B, Derek Plaaitjies and Inspired Stages. Your little ones will also be happily entertained with face painting and a doughnut-themed craft station.
